The quick answers to how SNEIQ works. Can’t find what you need? Contact support and a person will get back to you.

Buying

How does buying work?

Find something, hit Buy Now, and pay at checkout. Your payment is held securely— the seller doesn’t get paid until you’ve received the item and had a chance to check it. If something’s wrong, you’re covered by the Sneiq Guarantee.

What if my item never arrives?

You’re protected. If the seller never ships, we automatically cancel and refund the order. If it ships but never shows up, open a claim from the order page and we’ll make it right — a never-arrived order is covered by the Guarantee.

Can I return something I just don’t want?

Change-of-mind returns aren’t guaranteed — that’s our “no remorse, only resells” rule. Some sellers opt in to accept remorse returns, shown as a badge on the listing. What’s always covered is an item that’s not as described or dead on arrival.

How do I file a claim?

Open the order and use the claim option during your inspection window — up to 72 hoursafter delivery. Tell us what’s wrong and add photos. For electronics, photograph the serial number before sending anything back.

Selling

When do I get paid?

After the buyer’s inspection window closes, your payment is released. How fast depends on your seller tier — brand-new sellers have a short extra hold, verified and established sellers are paid at inspection close. The full ladder is on the Fees & Rewardspage. Your dashboard shows each order as pending → available → paid out.

What does it cost to sell?

Listing is free. When an item sells you pay a flat 5% platform fee (minimum $0.50) plus payment processing at cost. No buyer fees. See Fees & Rewards.

How fast do I need to ship?

Hand it to the carrier within about two daysof the sale. We generate the label, so tracking is automatic — no pasting tracking numbers. If an order sits with no carrier scan, we send reminders and, if it still hasn’t shipped, cancel and refund the buyer. Shipping speed feeds your reputation.

Disputes

What happens in a dispute?

We act as a neutral referee. When a claim is opened, the held payment is frozen so nothing is paid out mid-dispute. We review the evidence attached to the order — listing photos, the seller’s condition record, your photos, and the serial-number record for electronics — and decide whether to release the payment to the seller or refund the buyer. Not-as-described and dead-on-arrival returns are seller-paid.

Sneiq Rewards

How do Rewards work?

Share any listing and you get a personal link. If someone buys through it, you earn 25% of the platform feein Sneiq Rewards — platform credit you spend on SNEIQ. Rewards aren’t cash, can’t be withdrawn or transferred, and expire twelve months after they’re granted. Earnings confirm after the order completes and reverse if it’s refunded. Auctions

How do auctions and “Sneiq it” snipes work?

When auctions are live, you bid a private maximum and the system bids for you up to that amount. A bid is a binding commitment to buy — bidding needs a payment method on file, and the winner is charged automatically when the auction ends, which creates a normal order with the same protection as any purchase. You can schedule a “Sneiq it”snipe to place your bid in the final seconds, server-side — no third-party bots, no latency race.
